Keppel REIT Management Limited, as Manager of Keppel REIT ("Manager"), wishes to announce that Mr Tan Swee Yiow (陈瑞耀) will be appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive Director of the Manager with effect from 20 March 2017, subject to regulatory approval. He takes over from Ms Jesline Goh, who is leaving the Manager to pursue other career opportunities.
Mr Tan, 56, is currently President, Singapore, in Keppel Land and concurrently Head, Keppel Land Hospitality Management. He oversees the Keppel Land Group's investment and development operations in Singapore, as well as its hospitality management arm. Mr Tan has been with the Keppel Land Group since 1990. He was the CEO of the Manager when Keppel REIT was listed in April 2006, a role that he held till 2009.
Dr Audrey Chin, Chairman of the Manager, said, "Swee Yiow has been associated with Keppel REIT and the Keppel Group for a long time, and had played an instrumental role during Keppel REIT's inception and in the early years of its growth. While in Keppel Land, he led the development of many of the Singapore Grade A office buildings that are currently part of Keppel REIT's quality portfolio. His familiarity with Keppel REIT and its business operations, coupled with his expertise and in-depth knowledge of the real estate sector, will put the REIT in good stead to seize further opportunities for growth.

Beyond his role in Keppel Land, Mr Tan is the First Vice President of the Singapore Green Building Council and a Member of the World Green Building Council's Corporate Advisory Board. In addition, he serves as Honorary Secretary on the Management Council of Real Estate Developers' Association of Singapore and the Workplace Safety Health Council (Construction and Landscape Committee).
Mr Tan holds a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) in Estate Management from the National University of Singapore, and a Master of Business Administration in Accountancy from the Nanyang Technological University.
