Shanghai Merryfield as Top 10 Foreign Developers in Shanghai in 2005

Shanghai Merryfield Land, Keppel Land's subsidiary in Shanghai, was bestowed Top 10 Foreign Developers in the city by the Shanghai Real Estate Trade Association.

One Park Avenue Ranks Among Shanghai's Best

Shanghai Merryfield Land was conferred the "Distinguished Foreign Invested Enterprise Award 2004" for its project One Park Avenue. It also won the "Advanced Group Prize" conferred by the Shanghai Municipal Construction and Management Committee.

In October 2003, One Park Avenue was bestowed with two prestigious awards namely the Gold Award in the Environment category of "Top 10 properties in Shanghai" by Hong Kong’s Da Gong Bao newspaper and the "Fully-fitted Award" by Shanghai’s Municipal Government.

Da Gong Bao’s hit list of "Top 10 properties in Shanghai" charts residential properties most sought after by homebuyers in Hong Kong and Taiwan for the year.

One Park Avenue topped the Environment category of this award for its lush surrounds designed by celebrated architects, the Palmer and Turner Group and landscaped by the award-winning Belt Collins International. A green oasis sprouting in the heart of Shanghai city, One Park Avenue showcases enchanting gardens bejeweled with pavilions, fountains, pools and other ornamental features. The project’s overall design also takes into account Shanghai’s four seasons. All apartments are oriented towards the South so as to enjoy maximum warmth and sunlight during winter.

For its unique attributes, One Park Avenue was also conferred the "Fully-fitted Award" by Shanghai’s Municipal Government at the 3rd Excellence in Residential Properties Competition. This award recognises the project’s outstanding collection of fully fitted apartments, which are ready for occupancy upon completion. The units are furnished with quality flooring, fully fitted bathrooms, built-in wardrobes, kitchen cabinets and air-conditioning. Each home is also equipped with a security intercom system and broadband cabling.

One Park Avenue was also conferred the "Top 50 Best Selling Residential Properties in Shanghai 2003" in terms of floor area and sales by the Shanghai Real Estate Exchange Centre.

The project also garnered the "Best Full Finish" Award in the Third Shanghai Excellent Residence Competition 2003. As a result, the "Advanced Group Prize" was awarded to Shanghai Merryfield Land, Keppel Land's subsidiary in Shanghai by the Shanghai Municipal Construction and Management Committee.

8 Park Avenue wins Recognition for Product Excellence

8 Park Avenue in Shanghai has garnered two awards - "2005 Shanghai Top 10 International-grade Residential Property" and "2005 Shanghai International Marketing Award for Residential Property" - conferred by People's Daily in April 2005.

Awards for The Seasons, Beijing

The Seasons in Beijing has garnered numerous awards. These included the "2005 Most Anticipated Project Award", "Special Project Award", and "Across Borders Quality Developer Award" by An Jia magazine.

It was also bestowed the "2004 China Innovative New Project Award" and "2004 China Quality Property Developer Award" by Sina.com.

For its superb landscaping, The Seasons won the "Best Landscaping Award 2004" by Beijing’s Xin Jing Bao newspaper.

In addition, Keppel Land was ranked "Top 10 Real Estate Corporations in Beijing" by Beijing’s Lifestyle Guide publication and given the "Fastest Growing Developer Award" by Beijing Youth Daily.

The Waterfront sets the Benchmark for Quality Homes in Chengdu

The Waterfront, a 1,143-unit condominium in Chengdu, China, has been ranked among the 2006 Top 30 Most Valued Property Developments in Chengdu by Tianfu Morning Post and Chengdu Statistics Bureau.

It was also ranked among the 2005 Top 20 Sales (Residential) in Chengdu by the Chengdu Housing Bureau and Chengdu Property Developer Association

In addition, The Waterfront was named China's Reputed Real Estate Developments with Highest Habitability Value in the category of the Most Popular Residential Development with Foreigners by the 2nd China City Property Exposition 2005.

In September 2005, The Waterfront was awarded "Model Residential Development for International Community" by Chengdu Real Estate Brand Promotion Centre in September 2005.

The project was also bestowed the "Most Investment Worthy Residential Project in Chengdu - Gold Award, 2004" by the Chengdu Bureau of Statistics and Chengdu Housing Bureau.

Other awards won by The Waterfront include the "Recommended Project with Good Investment Value" by Chengdu Housing Bureau as well as the "Most Influential Property Brand, 2004" and "Most Valued-for-money Property, 2004" by the Chengdu Housing Bureau in collaboration with leading local media Chengdu Business Times and Property Weekly.

The Waterfront also won the "2004 Chengdu Property Annual Star Award" conferred by Chengdu Business Times and Housing Weekly.

The project was also awarded the "Most Eagerly Anticipated Property in Chengdu, 2004" by the Chengdu Business Times.

In addition, The Waterfront received the "2004 Most Habitable Development in Chengdu" award by the Chengdu Funan River Revitalisation Committee and Chengdu Business Times and the "Best Landscaping Concept and Design" award by the International Federation of Parks and Recreation in 2004. Both awards were given to The Waterfront under the auspices of the United Nations.

The Botanica in Chengdu reaps Awards

The Botanica, Keppel Land's joint venture residential township in Chengdu has clinched numerous awards.

These include the "High Quality Building Award" by Construction Bank of China in May 2005 and "2005 Project with Good Investment Value" by Chengdu Real Estate Brand Promotion Centre.

The Chengdu Residential Property and Real Estate Association bestowed the "2005 Most Reasonably Priced Project in Chengdu" award on The Botanica and the "2005 Most Trusted and Reasonable Pricing Developer in Chengdu" award on Keppel Land.

The township also bagged the "Top 10 Developments in 2005 - 1st Position", "2004 Sichuan¡¯s Top 10 Residential Projects 2004" and "Sichuan Top 50 Real Estate Developers 2004" for its developer CityOne Township Development Pte Ltd (CityOne). These awards were conferred by the Western China City Daily and China Housing Industry Exposition (Chengdu) Organising Committee.

In addition, it was also conferred the "2004 Recommended New Project with Good Investment Value" by Chengdu Business Times and the "Chengdu 2004 Most Trust Worthy Developer" award by Chengdu Real Estate Management Board.

Best Golf Course in China

Spring City Golf and Lake Resort was awarded the International Star Award for Quality - Gold Category in 2006 by Business Initiative Directions, a private organization from Madrid, Spain which recognises companies throughout the world that further their reputation and position by implementing and promoting quality culture.

The resort was also named China's Leading Golf Resort for the second consecutive year at the 12th World Travel Awards 2006. Voted independently by 156,000 travel agencies and professionals from 140 countries, the award recognises projects which set new benchmarks in the areas of customer service, technology, operational efficiency, product and style.

Other accolades garnered in 2006 include the Best Golf Course in Asia and Best Golf Course in China by Asian Golf Monthly; My Favorite Golf Club in China and Best Caddy Service Golf Club in China by China Golf Awards; and voted 1st and 2nd in the list of Top 10 Golf Courses in China by readers and panel of judges of China Golf magazine respectively.

Spring City Golf and Lake Resort's Lake Course and Mountain Course in Kunming, China were ranked by the U.S Golf Digest to be the No. 51 and No. 52 in the world outside the US. Spring City was also ranked by China Golf Magazine as My Favourite Golf Club for 2006 and Best Caddie Service Golf Club for 2006.

In addition, Spring City was named "Leading Golf Resort in China" for the second consecutive year in 2006 by World Travel Awards (London). The resort was voted by 167.000 travel professionals worldwide, including 110,000 travel agents.

The resort was named the "Best Golf Course in China and Hong Kong" by US Golf Digest (May 2005 issue). The Lake Course and the Mountain Course were ranked 51 and 52 respectively among the "Top Best 100 Golf Courses in the world outside USA".

In addition, Spring City was conferred the "Best Golf Course in China" and Asia Best Golf Resort (1st Runner-up) by Asian Golf Monthly (March/April 2005 issue). This was the second consecutive year that it has won the awards. The Mountain Course was named the Best Golf Course in Asia (1st Runner-up), while the Lake Course took the 8th position.

In 2004, China Golf Magazine also ranked the resort among the "Top 10 Golf Courses in China and Best Green in China". At the same time, the GM, Projects was named "Best Corporation Award for Spring City" and "Best Corporate Businessman Award" by the Kunming Municipal Government in the 7th Annual Award in April 2004.

Spring City also won the "Top Ten Golf Course in China Award" and "Best Green in China Award" by Hong Kong Golf Digest in September 2004. In December 2004, it was given the "My Favourite Golf Resort Award" and "Best Caddy Service Golf Club Award" by China Golf Magazine.

In 2003, Spring City Golf and Lake Resort won "The World's Most Influential Golf Award - China" and "The World's Most Influential Golf Award in China Cities - Kunming" awards. In addition, the US Golf Digest ranked it the "No.1 Golf Course in China" while Golf Digest Hong Kong listed it among the top 10 golf courses in China and Hong Kong. The latter also voted Spring City as the "Best Maintenance Golf Course" and named Holes No. 5 and 7 of the Lake Course as Signature Holes. For the fifth consecutive year, the resort was named "My Favourite Golf Club" by the China Golf Magazine.

Ocean Towers, Shanghai wins Construction Award

Ocean Towers in Shanghai was awarded the "National Excellent Building Construction Award 2003" under the commercial buildings category by the Central Government of China. Selection was based on several criteria including the design of the building, the quality of the construction works, the maintenance of the buiilding as well as the degree of tenants' satisfaction.

Vietnam

Golden Dragon Award 2008

Sedona Suites HCMC and Villa Riviera bagged the prestigious Golden Dragon Award in the real estate services and construction categories respectively. Jointly conferred by Vietnam’s Ministry of Planning and Investment and reputed business newspaper Vietnam Economic Times, the Golden Dragon Award recognizes companies for product and service excellence, as well as their contribution to Vietnam’s economy.

Watco Co Ltd receives Quality Award

Keppel Land's subsidiary in Vietnam, WATCO Co Ltd in Vietnam was given the 2005 Vietnam Quality Award by the Vietnam Directorate for Standards and Quality under the Ministry of Science and Technology. The Vietnam Quality Awards are annually presented to enterprises with outstanding quality achievements, positive impacts on society and good business performance. Criteria for the awards are based on quality management systems and business results with emphasis on such factors as leadership, strategic planning, customer focus, marketing and communication, and human resources development.

Best Serviced Apartment Awards for Sedona Suites Hanoi and Sedona Suites HCMC

In 2005, Sedona Suites Hanoi was awarded the "Best Luxury Serviced Apartment in Hanoi" for the fourth consecutive year, while Sedona Suites HCMC received the "Best Business Serviced Apartment" award for the third consecutive year. Jointly organised by Vietnam Economic Times magazine and Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the awards give recognition to outstanding hospitality service providers in Vietnam who have contributed significantly towards developing and maintaining the country's reputation as one of the friendliest and safest destinations in South East Asia.

Prestigious Awards for Sedona Suites Hanoi

Sedona Suites Hanoi also received the "Vietnam 2005 Quality Award" from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment for its outstanding management systems, customer focus and human resource development. This is the second time that the Sedona Suites Hanoi has won the award, the first being in 2002.

In addition, it was bestowed the "Golden Dragon Award 2005", a prestigious award given to a foreign-invested company for its contribution to Vietnam' economic growth. The panel of judges included the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Culture and Information, Vietnam Union of Scientific and Economic Associations and Vietnam Economic Times.

Quang Ba Royal Park JV Co., the joint-venture company for Royal Park development which houses Sedona Suites Hanoi, was bestowed the "Medal of Labour Award" by H.E. President of Vietnam for its social and economic contribution to Hanoi in 2005.

Vietnam 2005 Quality Award - Gold Medal for Saigon Centre

Keppel Land's Saigon Centre in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, was bestowed the "Gold Medal - Vietnam Quality Award 2005" by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment of Vietnam in recognition of the high quality of the development and the high standard of management and services provided. Saigon Centre is the only winner of the award under the real estate category. The Vietnam Quality Award is a quality management recognition programme in Vietnam, and it sets its appraisal standards based on the US Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Program. Key areas of evaluation include leadership, operational strategies, information and data analysis, management procedures and development, as well as business results.

Earlier in 2000, Saigon Centre had received international recognition with the top award of "Excellent Grade" in the International Asia Pacific Quality (IAPQ) Award 2000 competition. It is the first property development in Vietnam to receive this prestigious award.

Indonesia

Best Golf Course in Indonesia

Ria Bintan in Indonesia was ranked the Best Golf Course in Asia 1st Runner-up by Asian Golf Monthly. The magazine also named the golf club as Best Golf Course in Indonesia for the second consecutive year in 2006.

In 2005, Ria Bintan Golf Club won the following awards from Asian Golf Monthly:-

Ria Bintan was also ranked the "Most Popular golf Course in Asia 2004" by Golf Vacations, an international golf magazine (Singapore edition).

In 2003, Ria Bintan Golf Club emerged Runner-up for the 'Best Course in Indonesia' in the Asian Golf Monthly Awards. It also won 'Best Par-Five in Asia' for the 7th hole of the Ocean Course, and Runner-up for the 'Best Par-Three in Asia' for the 9th hole of the Ocean Course. The Golf Club was also First Runner-up for 'Best Golf Course in Indonesia' by US Golf Digest.

Green Globe 21 Certification for Melia Purosani Hotel

Melia Purosani Hotel in Yogyakarta has been awarded the certification of Green Globe 21 (Environment and Ecological Assessment) by Green Globe for its environmental efforts. It is the first hotel outside Bali to receive the award, which recognises commitment to operating at the world's highest environmental standards.

Philippines

The Podium receives 2005 Apolinario Mabini Awards for the Disabled Friendly Establishment of the Year

The Podium retail mall in the Philippines received the 2005 Apolinario Mabini Awards for the Disabled Friendly Establishment of the Year. Launched by the Philippines Foundation for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled, the annual award is given to places which have been most responsive to the needs of the disabled by providing the facilities and services which make their access to the establishment safer, more pleasant and convenient.

The Podium is the No.1 Shopping Centre in Mandaluyong City

The Podium received the award under the 2005 National shoppers' Choice Annual Awards for its novel approach to retail.
