(c) Analysis by Sector
Office buildings formed 56.8% of the Group’s
property portfolio. These included Ocean Building,
Ocean Towers, The Exchange, Capital Square,
Prudential Tower, Keppel Towers, GE Tower,
Bugis Junction Towers and Wisma BCA. The
proportion of residential properties was 36%.
Hotel, retail and industrial properties made up the
remaining 1.3%, 4.2% and 1.8% respectively.
(d) Analysis by Estimated Building Floor Area
The total building floor area of the Group’s
property portfolio was 671,000 sm. Office buildings
and residential properties formed 38.2% and
53.5% respectively of the total building area. The
balance comprised 1.8% for hotel, 2.2% for retail
and 4.3% for industrial buildings.
86% of the Group’s completed properties was in
Singapore. The remaining 14% was located overseas.
Taking into account projects currently under
development, Singapore and overseas properties
constituted 82% and 18% respectively of the Group’s
portfolio. The Group’s property portfolio amounted to
$4.476 billion.
