Recognising the rising importance of corporate social
responsibility (CSR) in building confidence and goodwill with
key stakeholders, Keppel Land constantly strives to adopt
and implement best practices in its business operations.
The Group aims to operate in an economically, socially and
environmentally sustainable way, to safeguard the interests
of its shareholders and investors, customers, employees, the
environment and the larger community in which it operates.
In 2006, Keppel Land joined Singapore Compact, which
serves as a platform for fostering dialogue and collaboration
on CSR.
It also joined the Singapore Green Business Alliance, an
association that promotes environmental protection, best
practices and cooperation among Singapore companies.
In recognition of its CSR efforts, Keppel Land was a finalist
in the ACCA Singapore Environmental Reporting Awards
held in March 2007.
Benchmark of building excellence
Keppel Land is committed to building quality properties

enhances its competitiveness. Its portfolio of internationallyacclaimed
developments is testimony to its commitment
to quality excellence.
Two of the Group's projects won the prestigious FIABCI
Prix d'Excellence 2006 Awards. Caribbean at Keppel Bay
was winner in the residential category, while HarbourFront
Office Towers was runner-up in the office/industrial category
based on criteria including environmental and social impacts.
Organised by the International Real Estate Federation,
the awards recognise the best in global real estate and is
regarded as the Oscars of the real estate industry.
Caribbean at Keppel Bay also received the Construction
Excellence 2006 Merit Award from the Building and
Construction Authority for its high standard of management,
technical expertise and workmanship.
In Kunming, China, Spring City Golf & Lake Resort was
named China's Leading Golf Resort for the second
consecutive year at the 12th World Travel Awards 2006.
Voted independently by 156,000 travel agencies and
professionals from 140 countries, the award recognises
projects which set new benchmarks in the areas of customer
service, technology, operational efficiency and product.
